Movement

Reach missouri 2030

Waypoint is committed to being a movement church, aggressively planting churches to impact lostness in our city. We intend to multiply by raising leaders and starting campuses across the St. Louis metro area.

Watch the video below for the details of the vision and steps to get involved.

Campus Plant Zones

As we've surveyed the St. Louis Metro Area, we've identified these zones as target areas to plant a Waypoint Campus.

Invest in Planting

The vision to plant a church per year requires God’s provision through the generosity of His people. We have created a designated account specifically for multiplication. Our commitment is to use every dollar given to this fund for church planting.

This is an account where every charitable contribution received is guaranteed to be used for planting future Waypoint Campuses.  The donation button on this page is a direct link to the reserve account. You can also find the account as an option in the drop down menu of SecureGive. All donations to the fund are tax deductible.

“Movement Church” is a designation given by the SEND Network to churches who are committed to aggressive church planting. SEND defines it as follows: “Movement Churches take responsibility for a church plant by sending them and helping ensure they get the preparation, coaching and care they need.” Waypoint was designated a Movement Church in 2025 - the first in the state of Missouri.

Yes! We are committed to supporting church plants doing gospel work in our region. Financial support of such plants is a regular part of how we use donations to the Acts 1:8 Mission Fund. We currently support 3 autonomous plants: Citizens Church (Wentzville), Faith Community Bible Church (Jennings), and Storyline Church (St. Louis).

They represent regions in which we intend to plant a Waypoint Campus. We currently have a presence in zones 1 and 2 with an expected date to launch in zone 3. Although the numbers indicate a possible sequence, we plan to be responsive to where God is moving and the opportunities set before our church.

Campuses are fully part of the Waypoint family with the same DnA and access to shared leadership and resources. Simply said, as campuses, we are one church in many locations. Autonomous churches are like-minded, independent congregations with no legal affiliation with Waypoint. These churches have their own leadership, DNA, and rhythms. We choose to partner with various autonomous church plants that serve under-reached parts of our city and in places of significant need.
