September 13th

Commissioning:

God is moving!  We are rejoicing in what God is doing through Waypoint as we commission and pray over our newest campuses in Overland and Warrenton launching October 4th. As a church, we believe God has called us to make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ. One of the ways we live that out is by multiplying gospel-centered churches and creating more opportunities for people across our region to hear the good news of Jesus. Celebration Sunday is a chance for our whole church family to mark this next step, pray for these new campuses, and ask God to continue working across the streets, across the states, and across the seas. Join us as we thank God for all He has done and look ahead with expectancy for what He will do through our Overland and Warrenton campuses. We are excited to celebrate and praise God for those He's raised for mission.

If you’ve never taken the step of believer’s baptism, Celebration Sunday is the perfect time! Baptism is a public declaration that you belong to Jesus, and we would love to walk with you in that step of obedience. Discover Waypoint

We are hosting our next session of Discover Waypoint, a 5-week series where you can learn more about Waypoint Church, what we believe, and how to get involved. This 5-week series will be held at our St. Charles Campus in room G-101 on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM from September 20th - October 18th.

Care & Discipleship Training with Pastor Dan

Do you have a heart for the Lord and a desire to learn and grow spiritually while being equipped to walk with others relationally? Do people seem to naturally confide in you and ask you for advice or guidance? If you answered yes, you should register for Care & Discipleship Training. To complete this training, you will spend a semester in Biblical Theology and a semester in Biblical Care & Discipleship, learning how to share Biblical Truth in Love. Register now for the fall semester focused on Biblical Theology.

Training begins Wednesday, September 9th - December 9th at 6:30-8:30 PM in Room G-101.

Gathering regularly with an authentic community will foster deeper relationships, encourage spiritual growth, and provide opportunities to serve one another. Registration is currently open. Promotion Sunday

Promotion Sunday is August 23rd and includes kids turning 3 by July 31, 2027, through 12th grade.


  • Pre-school - 5th grade will be in WayKids. New rooms will be reflected on the children's check-in tags beginning August 23.
  • 6-12th grade will be in Student Ministry.

- MDWK: They attend Midweek all together each Wednesday at The Realm, 6:30-8:30pm.

- Life Groups: 6-8th graders meet at The Realm Sundays, 9:30-10:45am. 9-12th graders meet at host homes Sundays, 6:30-8:30pm.

Women's Quarterly Gathering

Ladies, please join us for a chili cook-off on Friday, September 11th at 6:30 PM! Come hungry and ready to enjoy some delicious chili, good conversation , and a special night of worship as we gather together to lift our hearts to the Lord.

Have a chili recipe you love? Enter the cook off! Whether it is your family's famous recipe, your secret award-winning creation, or simply chili you love to make, we want to taste it! There will be some friendly competition, and of course, bragging rights! Bring a crockpot of chili. Bring a friend. Bring your appetite. Most importantly, come ready to worship. We can't wait to spend the evening with you!

STEPS

Admitting our brokenness isn't easy, and so often, we believe we are better than we truly are. This 14-week discipleship program takes people to the root of sin and suffering to embrace the freedom found only in Christ's redemption. In STEPS, participants will experience life-changing opportunities brought about by daily in-depth Bible study, personal assessments, insightful large-group teaching videos, and honest weekly interactions with a mentor and small group. Don't buy the lie that you are alone or that you can "fix this" on your own.

Classes begin on September 13th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.  The cost is $20.

This is always a fun and relaxed way for the men of Waypoint to connect, compete, and enjoy some good fellowship. Whether you come solo (we’ll pair you up) or bring a teammate—someone from your Life Group, serve team, neighborhood, or workplace - this is a perfect opportunity to build relationships and invite someone new into our community.

We're Hiring Childcare Workers!

We have open positions within our paid childcare staff! The childcare staff provides care to children of families participating in on-campus discipleship opportunities. Shifts are generally 2.5 hours long, and starting pay is $16/hour. Employees much be 16 years or older. Childcare sessions begin September 3rd!
